Dear Fred

Have you found role models important? What about mentors, sponsors and heroes?

Fred's Response

If you should have the opportunity of reading my first book “You and your network” you will find that I have written one each of these with the exception of sponsors. Generally, heroes exemplify characteristics we would emulate. The best heroes have finished their course. Role models personify qualities we would like to have in our lives. They might be role models in certain qualities only. Mentors help us maximize what we have determined to do. There is a difference in mentor and teacher/coach. Sponsors loaned us their reputations until we have made one of our own. They recommend us often times before we have certifiable credentials. They help us get our foot on the ladder.
