"Are the victims those who died or those left behind?" With over 283,000 dead in a dozen countries, many survivors would have preferred to have departed with their loved ones. RREACH is helping pastoral leaders who had lost loved ones and possessions as a result of the tsunami.
Dr. Ramesh Richard returned from an emotionally draining trip to Southern India where he met with pastors from the tsunami-affected regions. In reporting on his work he mentioned the urgency of supporting and providing resources to the pastors who are daily ministering to the devastated people. He acknowledged that many of the aid agencies were doing good work, but believes that he and RREACH are called to stand with the local pastors who are literally on the front lines of this life-changing event. For further information about his global proclamation see www.RREACH.org
He cautioned his listeners to avoid the opportunistic approach to aid. He warned that there could be a serious backlash against Christians and the gospel if agencies go with a hidden agenda. He strongly believes that his call is to "do good to all men, especially those of the household of faith."
