Fred is having tremendous days! Doesn't that sound strange? But I wish that you could see him sitting up in his wheelchair. Last Sunday he spoke to Zig Ziglar's Sunday School class and "knocked the ball out of the park." Yesterday he was honored on his half birthday by over 20 men who gathered for lunch and wisdom figure time. The activity didn't stop until after nine o'clock as two couples made stop in visits. He is reading a book on joy by John Piper. The Lord is giving him some first hand experience.
One friend suggested that it is time to get a horn for the wheelchair!
Specific prayer requests:
1) successful dialysis
2) other speaking opportunities
3) wisdom and insight when mentoring
4) thanksgiving for faithful TEAM FRED members who have joyfully made transport possible: Ron, John, Bill, Donald, Ed, Scott, Charles, Tommy,Tom and Jeff. Without their help this time on the Barton Chair would have been extremely difficult.
Each generation has wondered, "how does that work?" when considering the automobile, the airplane, the telephone or the internet. There has always been someone who has an answer, even though it may be beyond comprehension. Intercessory prayer keeps us all asking, "how does it work?" But only the heavenly Father has the answer. Thanks be to Him who in all ways provides.
