As this is being typed Fred is speaking to a Roaring Lambs breakfast in Dallas. He and friend Bob Deffinbaugh are sharing a conversation on Freedom. Fred has begun studying the subject of addiction and is doing great thinking on the topic. If you have thoughts or experiences please email him at mail@breakfastwithfred.com
The Houston trip was derailed by Rita. But he has been invited to teach Jack Modesett's class at First Presbyterian soon so the van will be packed and rolling with rockin' Fred.
His new dialysis center and schedule is working well. He is still on the MWF schedule, but now goes from 3:45 to 7:45pm. This gives him much more time at home and even allows for some "getting around."
Last week he went to afternoon tea with his daughters and thoroughly enjoyed being out and about. Being 90 is definitely not going to stop him.
Specific prayer requests:
1) Rest for Ofie who valiantly serves as home health care assistant. Her generosity of spirit touches all of us.
2) Continued success with the permacath so that dialysis can progress well.
3) Ongoing opportunities to stretch others
Fred prays for you all each and every day. He continually lifts up "those who pray for us." Thank you for your faithfulness.
