Fred is spending the night in Medical City Hospital in Dallas. His temperature spiked overnight and there is infection somewhere ---- yet to be determined.
He dialyzed in the hospital this afternoon and they are looking for "bugs."
Thank you for praying. One possibility is his dialysis permacath. As you know, finding a satisfactory placement for that was difficult. He doesn't have many options open. We know that the Lord has Fred in His hands and every minute is measured out. He is a blessing to the hospital staff and he will be useful - of that we are sure!
His nephrologist told him the other day that he is off the charts and that none of the statistics apply to him. He simply asked, "Are those stats with or without prayer?" You all are part of a wonderful experience. Thank you.
