"Just using my God-given gift!" That is the lab technician's response when Fred congratulated him on his excellent skills. Fred's veins have made him a "difficult stick" in hospital vernacular. How often do we think that drawing blood is an exercise of God's gift. What a great attitude and gift to Fred this afternoon.
There is definitely infection and it is probably staph. However, the form hasn't been identified. One is easier to treat than the other. You know which way we are leaning!
He has had some great conversations with hospital people today ---- the Lord has used him to encourage and stretch several today.
Sleeping isn't his strong suite anyway and hospitals are famous for waking you up just as you doze off...so thanks for praying about this.
Tomorrow the lab reports come back and it will become clearer about the treatment.
Please pray for:
1) Sleep and rest for Fred.
2) Thanksgiving for Ofelia and her willingness to spend the night.
3) Clear direction on treatment and skilled physicians.
"For we know that all things work together for good for the called according to His purpose."
