The staph infection is in Fred's dialysis line. Tomorrow morning he will go to radiology so that they can do a thorough exam of his veins. They are looking for a suitable substitute location for his dialysis port. The doctors feel that the current one is compromised by the staph.
Prayer requests:
1) Continued peace and comfort for Fred and all around him.
2) Clarity and wisdom for the doctors as they look for a satisfactory solution.
3) Thanksgiving for prayer support and care.

We are constantly reminded in scripture that the body of Christ is a "we" not a group of "I"s. In times like these it is most apparent that the church is organic, not organizational. Your support is literally buoying us up and "peace is reigning in our hearts."
One dear friend and long time member of the BWF community reminded me that Fred is one of God's dear sheep, so maybe it is STAFF, not staph! Fred knows and loves his Shepherd and has entrusted his life to a most faithful and worthy Lord. Bless.
