" Sam Hanks told a great story about nursing his car to win his last Indy 500...he kept saying, 'hold together, hold together - just one more lap." Fred watched the race on Sunday and shared that story with some friends who came to visit. It was hard not to see the parallel as he manages to hold together in these last laps. He, too, will go out a winner. Thank you for praying. Specific requests: 1) Successful dialysis with manageable BP 2) Ability to travel to East Texas tomorrow (last week's trip was postponed). 3) Praise for the ambulance crews and their care for Fred. 4) Thanksgiving for Ofie and her skillful caregiving. 5) Prayer that the last steps in the book will go well. 6) Rest for Brenda. "In all things give thanks, for this is the will of God." We give rich, abundant, overflowing thanks for each of you. We actually feel the prayer support.
