Today would have been the 70th anniversary of Fred and Mary Alice Smith. They shared 67 fruitful years together until her death in 2004.
The Thursday night group spilled out of Fred's bedroom and into the BWF office in the accompanying room. His running topic is How to Live a Life without Regrets.
His 92nd birthday will be September 1st. If you would like to send him a card address it to 11460 Parkchester Drive Dallas, Texas 75230. He reads every email and card - and saves them.
Specific prayer requests:
1) Consistent eating, especially for high protein content.
2) Stabilized BP during dialysis
3) Thanksgiving for the ambulance drivers who enable him to travel back and forth
4) Warm reception for the BWF book and successful delivery to stores in September.
A missionary friend spent several hours updating Fred last week. He commented, "We have thousands who pray for us and we know it makes a difference." Fred totally agreed and told of the BWF community which upholds him daily...and for whom he prays.
Blessings and thanksgivings to each of you as you begin another work week. May Jesus Christ be praised in all you do. May you be strengthened to do the mighty work for which you have been designed and called.
