Sorry to miss yesterday.
Fred managed dialysis well --- much better than expected.
The doctor is recommending discharge at the end of the week. You all must have some mighty prayer power because that same doctor was asking about the status of his Do Not Resuscitate order last week!
Specifically pray for: 1) ability to eat - he needs much more nutrition 2) effects of medication to clear up 3) consistent sleep 4) safe transport home
His influence is still strong, even in his physically compromised condition. Yesterday a woman came to visit whom he impacted when she was a college student. She wanted to express thanks for 50 years of encouragement.
