Fred, first I'm am so blessed to cherrish that you are here with us after the scare we had last year before Easter. My family and I love you without words to explain. My question is actually from my wife who wants to know whether we can communicate with those who have passed on and whether we have a so called (by her) a connection with the spirits of the deceased.

Thank you for your intercessory prayer and interest. There have been several, including Houdini, who made appointments to communicate from the beyond. But I know of no occasion where it was done. We are not instructed in the Bible to seek communication with dead spirits. I once visited with a doctor who said he was speaking with Edison after his death. At that moment I had the sense of an evil spirit that forced me to leave the room immediately. Demonic activity often masquerades as communion with dead spirits. Our conversation is to be with God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
