How do I deepen my personal relationship with God?
Fred's Response
First and foremost, is to have a genuine desire for that relationship on His basis, and not our own. We are not bargaining with God – we are submitting. Next, become familiar with Him through the scriptures and prayer. Recognize His hand in all that happens to us and be grateful. Then I think it is most helpful to have people around you who genuinely know and love the Lord.
