Dear Fred

Dear Fred, Any suggestions on leading pagan friends to Jesus? I am doing the best I can, most of my work is done on my knees. My husband and I shining for God the best that we can. It is obvious that they see God's light in us. I am in for the long haul. My motto is if God will that none should perish then so do I. I'd like a little more information on paganism, what the Bible says about it and general facts so that I can be more knowleagable when it comes to open discussions with them. Any pointers, Scriptural references or general information you can provide would be great help. Thanks Fred for everything you do in His name.

Fred's Response

Always be aware that we do not convert people – that is the work of the Holy Spirit. Often the most we can do is consistent prayer, just as you are doing. Sometimes we can simply plant the seed and not even see the harvest. Those you are trying to reach will probably be influenced more by your walk than your talk. My friend, Steve Brown, of KeyLife Ministry (www.keylife.org) would be a good reference for you. His daily radio show is on in many markets. Also, he has published numerous books that speak openly about interfacing with the non-believing world. I don’t believe in setting a numerical goal in our evangelistic work of reaching the “pagan.”
