I have worked in the medical field for 20 years. I am thinking of switching my vocation to real estate. What would be the first steps I should take?

I think first you have to get a license, but before that I would seriously consider whether you are just changing for money or to relieve boredom. Is your God-given talent best used in real estate or medicine?
