Fred, Have you heard of Orison Swett Marden? He wrote Pushing to the Front in the late 1800's along with a lot of other books on personal improvement. His teaching s are biblical in nature. From his writings I see a lot of today speakers materials. If you have heard of him what are you thought’s on Mr. Marden. Thanks, -Glenn Bestebreur

You have brought up a new name to me and I will be looking for material on him. Thanks. I believe that all motivation and personal development thinking that is based on scriptural principles is ageless. I enjoy reading from the centuries old mystics and find that their understanding of scripture is just as "new" as our current theologians.
