Dear Fred

How can a speaker develop the ability to use humor well even if it isn't a natural gift?

Fred's Response

If you don't see alot of humor in life then don't try to use it in your speaking. Humor ineffectively used loses its ability to illustrate or to give the audience a psychological break. Instead it causes the audience to feel sorry for the speaker and this is not an emotion that anyone wants to create.
