I read somewhere in the Bible not to mark your body as the idoloters do? Is this correct?

From a practical standpoint I've never seen dedicated Christians wearing tatoos they acquired after their spiritual experience. It seems to me that tatoos put you in a group not known for spirituality. Most do not glorify God. I am not sure of a scriptural reference, but if it is there you can be sure and find it in a good concordance.
