How do I control my anger?

One thing that helped the process of controlling my anger was to write down in a notebook whenever I became angry. What happened leading up to my anger? What were my thoughts before, during & time I began to see a pattern and could better identify the source of my anger & decide how I was going to handle similar situations ahead of time. Seeking Christian counseling helped me look at painful hurts from the past that were showing up as anger in the present. Controlling anger is a process but it is doable!
