Dear Fred
Fred, I serve as interm pastor in church. God blessed my work the church is growing now, people are trained. Gorwing spiritually too. They want me to be the senior pastor. They really like me. But the search committee some how told the church that I am not a leader (dynamic). God is not showing me at present other ministry. I really like to serve in this church. The more I pray the more God opens opportunites in this church. Again the church asking me to paln for the future while they continue to look for the dynamic pastor. I do not know what do to. God seems to be silent. Should I continue to minister or should I look for another place of ministry. By the way the main issue is I am not an anglo, becasue the church is an anglo church. Help me
Fred's Response
I doubt that God picks His leaders according to ethnicity. If you feel that you are serving God where you are, stay until you feel you have to change. The selection of the new pastor has not happened. Maybe it won’t. But do not let your ego determine your moves. As long as you are a blessing to the church you are not wasting your time.
