Dear Fred

I'm a Preacher's Kid. I have a sermon to deliver to the Eaglet's who have lost thier Eagle's (Parent Leaders). Where should I began? There is so much encouragement to give them however we need to take our place in the kingdom of God and not continue to shrink back and become lost because lifes travesty.

I, too, am a PK. When we lose a parent we do not try to imitate their faith or work. We have to establish our own faith since our relationship with Christ is not a family one, but a personal one. Be thankful if your Eagle was a person of God. It’s God’s purpose that we always move forward toward maturity in Christ and not let the unfortunate circumstances of loss defeat us.
