Oftentimes our not doing what we know is right to do can be more harmful to us than consciously doing something that we call “sins of commission.†The important thing is that we not knowingly and defiantly sin. The key element in both is the will. One is choosing not to do good; the other is choosing to do evil. Probably the greatest sin of omission is the failure to pray.
