I think my favorite verse is largely controlled by my mood or situation. When I was a young man an evangelist gave me his interpretation of Proverbs 18:16 “Take the gift God has given you and you will be successful” (Stand before important people). In later translations they have changed what I considered talent to bribe which would destroy his interpretation. For many years it was very helpful to me. There are so many verses which apply to our lives that I think of them as a bouquet of scripture.
