I am 18 y.o., in my first semester in college, and I have not dated, because I have thought most dating relationships are based on emotions or peer pressure. When and should I start dating? What are your thoughts and suggestions?

By denying yourself the relationship with another, you might be stunting your social growth. Set your own rules for the relationship and not feel that you have to be pressured by your peers. Dating is a very personal thing. It always has to have ground rules. Set your boundaries early so they will not come as a surprise to the other person.
