Violet, we know that all war will stop at the second coming of Christ. Until that time, scripture says there will be war which is a result of Satan's seducing Adam and Eve and bringing sin into our human experiences. Remember, the war in Iraq is just one of several that is going on in the world at this same time. And you are right ---- it is dreadful. It is a terrible illustration of sin. I don't know when this one will be over, but I am sure there will be others. I am sure that other Christians are joining you in praying for our leaders, particularly our President.
