I'm a teacher, but recently while teaching I have started becoming more self-conscious than before (I was already pretty bad) and have started blushing- sometimes without any reason other than remembering that I blush easily. How can I stop this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Who says you have to stop it? If it is a natural reaction, accept and people will as well. Two remarks might be “I have learned to blush and cheat the cosmetic company†or “Blushing reminds me that I am human. If I don’t let it bother me please do not let it bother you.†When I was fighting with stage right I learned to concentrate on what I was saying to the audience and not what the audience was thinking about me. Change your focus from self-consciousness to being absorbed in others.
