Dear Fred

I am a gung ho person and philosophies have changed my life completely. I believe that I have something to share with people. I want to start my own speaking firm. I am financially not equipped. Does that mean, I might not be able to because of this technical problem.

Fred's Response

Finances are one of the most basic ingredients of activity. Do you know someone or some organization who believes enough in your project to finance it? I would certainly not recommend starting without resources. Most small ventures fail due to a lack of capital. In speaking you must first establish your personal reputation. Then you can add others as you have more opportunities then you can fulfill. Otherwise you would become an agent for other speakers, which some have made into a very successful career.
