Do I stifle my emotions too much?

I can't let my emotions lead me, but I must process them to maintain mental health. An example, my anger with God when events don't go as I had hoped. If I stifle my anger, I may feel contrite, but also frustrated and shameful. If I take it before the Lord, asking for understanding, I feel His love flow through me. I accept myself, I realize I am not looking to His sovereignty. I don't understand why life happens as it does, but I'm not in control, and I have given my life to Him. I trust Him. If I can't see His hand, then I trust His heart. The emotion is released. The truth has set me free!
