"How are you, Fred?" "Well, I am not sure quite how to answer that.....I am better than yesterday, but not nearly as good as I will be tomorrow."
As usual, he is wowing the hospital staff with his mental and spiritual discipline - and the ability to come back so far today. He is still in the SICU at Medical City, Dallas.
His BP is being supported with medication, but enabled him to go through dialysis successfully. The dialysis nurse, Ray, is a believer and they had four hours of great fellowship. The Lord is sending lots and lots of support.
Thank you for praying ---- it is literally felt like a cloud around Fred and those with him.
The next few days are important because he needs to sustain his BP without the aid of medication.
Little nuggets of wisdom are piling up around his bed as he shares what he is thinking about. His mind is forever going - even through yesterday ( it turns out) when he couldn't express his thoughts.
