Dear Fred

Dear Fred, I am 38 y.o. with 2 young children. I have been suffering from post traumatic stress disorder all my life and within the past two years have been hospitalized 7 times. I am currently on disability for my "condition". I am having a very hard time taking care of myself, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially, let alone anyone else. Any advice?

Fred's Response

Your trouble is serious and real. You have my prayers. Be sure that you believe God loves you. It makes a great difference in how we go through trouble. As much as you can cast your care on Him for He cares for you. I know this is difficult to believe in serious trouble, but it is still scripturally true. Accept your problems as challenges and not defeats. You are not alone. Pray for strength while developing as much will power as can. Reach out to others who can provide a support net for you. Develop associates who have come through similar situations. Your situation is not hopeless.
