"He just loves life, doesn't he?" What a wonderful summary statement for Fred. He loves that while he is living he has an opportunity to make a difference and stretch a few more.
He was asked recently to do a short video to be used with public school students in California. As he prepared he commented, "it has been 70+ years since I was a high schooler." But true to form, he found some stories with timeless principles. He spoke briefly on encouragement - those who believed in him and challenged the group to believe sincerely in others. There is tremendous power in having someone say, "I believe in you!"
Specific prayer requests
1) Ofie is waiting for surgery; we are waiting for her return.
2) Mary Alice is peaceful, but eating and drinking very little.
3) Wisdom for decisions that need to be made regarding Mary Alice's care
4) Praise and thanksgiving for wonderful TEAM FRED members who are jumping in to help during Ofie's absence.

Isaiah states that the Lord God "gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Thanks be to God!
