"You are making great progress and there is no sign of recurring melanomas." Good report from the surgical oncologist this afternoon. Fred had a busy day with a visit from the wound nurse, the nurse practitioner and a trip to Dr. Huth's office. Add to that at least 6 phone calls and you have a senior executive day for him!
Mary Alice's remembrance service was one week ago today. So many of you have listened to the audio and let Fred know how much it impacted them. Thanks.
Sepcific prayer requests:
1) Successful dialysis - the new nursing staff hasn't mastered his idiosyncratic system.
2) Praise and thanksgiving for the many who have supported Fred and the family during the death of Mary Alice.
3) Strength for Fred as he teaches Zig's class on Sunday. His title will be The Joy of Encouragement. He will be speaking from his heart with great illustrations.
" Not as those who grieve without hope" ---- Paul's phrase is powerful. But Fred and the family have the hope of Mary Alice's presence with the Lord; the hope of eternal reunion; the hope of peace in the midst of sorrow; and the hope that the word of God is true.
You are a great part of that hope. You bring joy, remembrances, comfort and laughter. Bless.
