Happy New Year to all!
Fred is experiencing shortness of breath caused by excess fluid in his chest cavity. The dialysis team is increasing the amount that they "pull off" each session in order to remedy this problem.
The Saturday morning group starts back up tomorrow and Fred is excited to resume after a holiday break. If you are in Dallas on Saturday morning, please come by. mail@breakfastwithfred.com is the contact for directions.
Haddon Robinson, distinguished professor of preaching at Gordon-Conwell, was in town to teach at Dallas Theological Seminary. He made a stop to spend time with Fred and they had a challenging afternoon.
Specific prayer requests:
1) Adequate sleep at night
2) Successful performance of the dialysis permacath
3) Strength to attend the Guideposts/Peale Center meeting scheduled for Phoenix in March
